Café
The café offers takeaway hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, cakes, ice creams (and much more) to keep you refreshed during your visit to The Parkridge Visitor Centre and Brueton Park. What’s more, all profits go towards creating a wilder warwickshire, making more space for wildlife and people to thrive.
Nature Reserve
The Parkridge Nature Reserve is a tranquil oasis for people and wildlife on the edge of Solihull Town Centre. Although a modest 5.5 acres, the reserve boasts a whole variety of popular British and migratory birds including nesting blue tits, woodpeckers, long-tailed tits and nuthatches. Remnants of the historic pleasure grounds include giant redwoods, iron wood trees, black walnut, handkerchief trees, maples and some fine mature oaks.
There is also a fun adventure playground for children of all ages to enjoy, and a purpose-built classroom for school visits and a variety of children's activities.
Thanks to funding from Veolia we now have a brand new mud kitchen for young nature lovers to enjoy at Parkridge. Check out the new look in the image gallery below. There is also a fun adventure playground for children of all ages.
