There are two categories to enter:
- Nature in crisis
- Nature returning
The winner in each category will receive a birdfeeder and their choice of a beautiful bird mug. Entrants can submit up to five photos and the competition closes on Saturday 24th October 2020.
What is Warwickshire Wildlife Trust looking for?
The competition is seeking sharp, bright, clean images that tell a story and grab attention!
Entrant's photos may include wildlife or people, a landscape or a close-up, an urban view or farmland. The way entrants interpret the theme is up to them, but we encourage photographers to consider what is affecting nature at the moment, from the climate crisis to the rise in popularity of forest school activities for children.
For example:
- A damaged landscape
- An urban view
- Wildlife affected by litter or pollution
- People observing a natural disaster or the problems it has caused
- Newborn life
- Observing nature close-up
- Wild or calm weather
- Wildlife in motion
- Wildlife thriving in an unlikely place
Winners will be announced on our website by Thursday 5th November.
We look forward to seeing all the entries from our talented, local photographers!
