Be at the heart of our work

Become a Patron and plant the seed for nature’s recovery.

As a Patron, you will join a unique group of supporters who share a vision of Warwickshire’s wilder future. Through their commitment, they are making a real difference to wildlife on their doorstep.

Your patronage will support the areas of greatest need. It could help us to buy new land to create more havens for wildlife; extend the green corridors between our reserves; reach more children in inner-city areas with wild experiences; and deepen people’s connection with nature for their mental health.

A message from Susan Rasmussen, Founding Patron:

“I love Warwickshire and I can’t think of any more important work than protecting and improving its natural environment, which is why I became a member of Warwickshire Wildlife Trust.

Most of us live in towns and cities and, spending much of our time indoors, we can easily forget that we are an integral part of nature; not only does it do us good to get out into our green parks and rural landscapes but we are completely dependent on the natural environment for all our needs.

As well as harnessing the goodwill of volunteers and getting community groups involved in outdoor projects, the Trust is acquiring land of its own to add to its reserves and encouraging current best practice among other landowners. I would like help in whatever way I can to address the climate and ecological emergency, so I’m excited about becoming one of the very first Warwickshire Wildlife Trust Patrons.”
