About the event

This Family Five Ways to Play mini-course will be every Thursday morning from 10.30am - 12pm at Wembrook Woods (Donnithorne Woods), off Donnithorne Avenue in Caldwell, Nuneaton (opposite the Wembrook Community Centre, CV11 4QL). We would encourage families to come and join us for at least 3 out of the 5 weeks (dates below) to get the most out of the course! Each week we will have a different theme and different activities to try! We also aim to follow the children's interests but activities could involve: nature scavenger hunts, bug hunting, bird watching, wild art, free play, games and much more!

The dates are as follows:

  • Thursday 1st August
  • Thursday 8th August
  • Thursday 15th August
  • Thursday 22nd August
  • Thursday 29th August

The sessions will all be based at Wembrook/Donnithorne Woods, off Donnithorne Avenue in Caldwell, Nuneaton.  There is nearby street parking.

Anyone is welcome to join the course, there is no need to know anything about nature before you start!  Sessions will be aimed at Primary School children however, younger children/siblings are welcome (2+).
