Spring Bird ID & Birders Breakfast, with Ed Drewitt
, Coventry, Warwickshire, CV33GW
About the event
Join us and Naturalist Ed Drewitt on Sunday 13th April 2025 for a Spring Bird ID Course, here at Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve!
This course is the ideal opportunity for you to learn how to identify by sight and sound the many species that will be living across the pools and woodland - from Teal to Lapwings, through to Treecreepers and Cettis' Warblers. We may even catch a glimpse of a Kingfisher if we're lucky! This is also the ideal time for us to listen to birdsong as the woodland birds are busy arriving for the Spring, or have already arrived and are busy nesting.
The course will take place exclusively outside in the early morning dawn, so please dress appropriately for the weather. This course is suitable for absolute beginners and those wishing to brush up on their skills. Suitable for adults and children aged 14+ (accompanied by a paying adult)
A Birders Breakfast, including a bap and a hot drink, is included in the ticket price, and will be available in the Cafe from 9.30am. The Cafe will be exclusively used for this event until 10am. Please make us aware of your drink and food choice and any dietary requirements and/or allergens during the ticket booking process.
Please note that vegan and gluten free options are available for the Birders Breakfast. Please also note that we follow best practices in safe food handling to prevent cross-contamination. However, we cannot guarantee our dishes are 100% free of any specific allergen.
